Donia Oroumchi
"The health of your eyes is a matter close to my heart!"
Having grown up in Persia, my professional path led me to Switzerland after studying medicine at the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE) and completing my specialist training at the University Eye Clinic Schleswig-Holstein, Campus Lübeck (UKSH).
My many years working in ophthalmology practices in Winterthur, Zürich, Kloten and Bülach have shaped me both professionally and personally. My cultural background is always a great help in meeting people from a wide range of cultures with respect, trust and understanding.
I am all the more pleased to have now taken the step into self-employment, founding Augenzentrum Bachenbülach to realise my own vision of personal, high-quality ophthalmic care that should be accessible to everyone.
It is a great pleasure and a genuine concern of mine to continue being there for the people of this region. The profound importance of sight for quality of life, together with my fascination for this complex sensory organ, motivates me every day to provide individual, competent and the best possible care.

Stefanie Pfeiffer
With heart and expertise — for healthy visual development from the very start.
My name is Stefanie Pfeiffer, and for many years I have worked with great enthusiasm as a certified orthoptist (HF).
I began my professional path training as a qualified optician (EFZ) at Bischofberger Optik in Winterthur. I then gained valuable experience during an internship at a residential school for children with disabilities, where I continued to work afterwards.
I completed my training as a certified orthoptist (HF) at Kantonsspital St. Gallen and at ZAG Winterthur, graduating successfully. During this time I gained comprehensive knowledge in orthoptic-strabological and neuro-ophthalmological prevention, diagnostics and therapy for people of all ages — with a particular focus on early detection in young children.
Over the course of my career, I have worked at various renowned institutions, including the Eye Clinic of Prof. Dr. med. Daniel Mojon, the eye clinic at Kantonsspital Winterthur, and Augenmed AG / ONO Augenzentrum under Dr. med. Eliska Nagel.
Working with children and young people is especially close to my heart. It is important to me to create a trusting, relaxed atmosphere in which our young patients feel comfortable and are gently introduced to examinations and treatment through play.

My name is Saber Yar, and I am your point of contact for all organisational and digital matters relating to our practice.
With a master's degree in digital product design and development from Hamburg, together with my passion for organisation, digitalisation and quality management, I ensure that all organisational and technical processes run smoothly behind the scenes. My professional background lies in developing user-friendly digital solutions and efficient processes.
I now draw on this experience to continuously improve our practice organisation and to make every visit as pleasant, well-structured and efficient as possible for our patients.
My goal is for our entire practice team to be able to focus on what matters most — providing excellent medical care to our patients. At the same time, I want to help ensure that you feel well looked after and in good hands from your very first appointment booking through to your visit at our practice.

Our ophthalmology practice is located on the first floor of the Rietbach Center, newly opened in 2024. The same building also houses further medical services, including the Safari paediatric practice, the Dr. HUUS general practice, and the InovaDental dental practice — short distances and optimal networking for your health.
Thanks to its location right in the middle of Bachenbülach's new shopping district, a visit to our practice can easily be combined with shopping or other errands.
