Having grown up in Persia, my professional path led me to Switzerland  after studying medicine at the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf ( UKE ) and completing my specialist training at the University Eye Clinic Schleswig-Holstein/ Campus Lübeck  (UKSH) .
My many years of experience working in ophthalmology practices in Winterthur, Zurich, Kloten, and Bülach have shaped me both professionally and personally. My cultural background has always been a great help in enabling me to treat people from diverse cultures with respect, trust, and understanding.
I am all the more pleased to have taken the step into self-employment today and to have implemented my own vision of personal and high-quality ophthalmology, which should be accessible to everyone, with the founding of the eye center.
 
It is a great pleasure and a genuine concern of mine to continue being there for the people in the region. The immense importance of sight for quality of life and my fascination with this complex sensory organ motivate me daily to ensure individual, competent, and the best possible care.

My name is Stefanie Pfeiffer and I have been working with great pleasure as a certified orthoptist for many years.
My professional journey began with an apprenticeship as an optician (EFZ) at Bischofberger Optik in Winterthur. Following this, I gained valuable experience during an internship at a residential school for children with disabilities, where I continued to work afterwards.
I completed my training as a certified orthoptist (HF) at the Cantonal Hospital of St. Gallen and at ZAG Winterthur, and graduated successfully.
During this time I was able to acquire comprehensive knowledge in orthoptic-strabological and neuro-ophthalmological prevention, diagnostics and therapy in people of all age groups – with a special focus on early detection in young children.
During my professional career, I have worked in various renowned institutions, including the Eye Clinic with Prof. Dr. med. Daniel Mojon, the Eye Clinic of the Cantonal Hospital Winterthur, and the Augenmed AG / ONO Eye Center with Dr. med. Eliska Nagel. This allowed me to continuously expand and deepen my professional expertise.
I am particularly passionate about working with children and young people. It is important to me to create a trusting and relaxed atmosphere where the young patients feel comfortable and are introduced to examinations and treatments in a playful way.

My name is Saber Yar, and I am your point of contact for all organisational and digital matters relating to our practice.

 

With a Master’s degree in UX/UI Design from Hamburg and a strong passion for organisation, digitalisation, and quality management, I ensure that all organisational and technical processes behind the scenes work together smoothly and efficiently.

My professional background lies in developing user-friendly digital solutions and optimising complex workflows. Today, I apply this experience to continuously improve our practice organisation and make every visit as pleasant, structured, and efficient as possible for our patients.

 

My goal is to enable our entire practice team to focus on what matters most: providing excellent medical care to our patients. At the same time, I aim to ensure that you feel well supported and in good hands, from your initial appointment booking through to your visit at our practice.

Die Augen Ihrer Kinder sind wichtig!

Mein Name ist Samuel Sam und ich arbeite seit vielen Jahren mit viel Freude als Orthoptistin. Nach meiner Ausbildung zur Augenoptikerin EFZ bei Fielmann habe ich die Ausbildung zur diplomierten Orthoptistin am Universitätsspital Zürich und im ZAG Winterthur abgeschlossen. Dort habe ich umfassende Erfahrungen  in der orthoptisch-strabologischen und neuroophthalmologischen Prävention, Diagnose und Therapie bei Personen aller Altersgruppen, insbesondere die Prävention kleiner Kinder gesammelt.

 

In meiner bisherigen beruflichen Laufbahn habe ich für einige Arztpraxen, insbesondere in Airport medical Center bei prof. Mojon und in Bülach bei Frau Dr. Eliska Nagel.  Dabei konnte ich vielfältige Erfahrungen in verschiedenen Bereichen der Orthoptik sammeln.

 

Besonders gern arbeite ich mit Kindern und Jugendlichen. Mir ist wichtig, eine vertrauensvolle und entspannte Atmosphäre zu schaffen, in der sich die Kleinen wohlfühlen und spielerisch an ihre Sehkraft herangeführt werden.

Ich freue mich darauf, Sie und Ihre Familie in unserer Praxis willkommen zu heissen und gemeinsam für gesunde Augen zu sorgen.

Mein Name ist Liana Schweizer, und ich bin in unserer Praxis sowohl als Praxismanagerin als auch als Optikerin tätig. Nach meiner Ausbildung zur Augenoptikerin habe ich vielseitige Erfahrungen in unterschiedlichen Bereichen der Augenoptik gesammelt. Bis Ende 2024 war ich bei Optiker Viu in Winterthur tätig, wo ich unter anderem die Leitung der Stores innehatte und wertvolle Managementkenntnisse erwerben konnte. 2024-2025 habe ich als Sprechstundenorganisatorin in einer Augenarztpraxis in Bülach gearbeiten und konnte wertvolle Erfahrung in medizinische Betreuung der PatientInnen sammeln.

In unserer Praxis setze ich nun genau diese Erfahrung ein. Als Praxismanagerin koordiniere ich den Ablauf und die Organisation des gesamten Betriebs. 

Der direkte Austausch mit unseren Patientinnen und Patienten liegt mir besonders am Herzen, denn nur so kann eine umfassende, persönliche Betreuung gelingen.
